German tanks in World War II

careers for the army

The Germans built many tanks during World War II to defeat the British. The Panzer III Flamm, the Jagdtiger, and the Panzer III Flamm were just a few of the many tanks that the Germans developed. Many of these tanks were hugely successful, so the Germans quickly started to work on other projects. The German arsenal had more than 1000 tanks by the end of World War II.

Panzer IV

Panzer IV was an German tank that was used during World War II. It was designed to be a threat against enemy anti-tank guns and machine guns. The tank also had high-explosive ammunition that could cause damage to anything within the blast radius.

Panzer III

Panzer III was the German tank that saw combat in World War II. The Panzer III was a light tank with a prominent hull and a high armor rating. It had an offset front hull armour, and was able to counter Allied tanks. The M model featured improved hull armor, with a five-mm plate on the top and a lower one on the bottom. It served a dual purpose and was used extensively on the Eastern Front. The M model was also retrofitted as a heavy battle tank, the Tiger I. It was also used for tank-hunting purposes.

Panzer II Flamm

The Panzer II Flamm was a German tank that was designed by the German Army in the 1930s. It weighed in at around 12 tons and featured a turret equipped with a rotating MG 34 gun. It had armor protection that could reach 30 mm. The crew consisted only of three men. There were also two flamethrowers at each corner. It weighed around 12 tons, with a fuel tank holding 160 liters. It was powered a Maybach 6-cylinder engine, the Maybach H62 TRM. It produced 140 horsepower.

Panzer II Flamm Ausf A

Flammpanzer II is a German tank built to fire on enemy bunkers. The project was ordered by the German Army HQ before the start of the Second World War. Daimler-Benz was assigned the task of designing the tank. Daimler-Benz completed the prototype in July 1939. The tank's prototype was constructed of soft steel and was equipped with two flamethrowers, which could operate at 180 degrees.

Panzer II Flamm Ausf B

Panzer II Flamm Ausf B German armored tank was designed and built by Germany's Army. The tank featured a turret, which was placed on top of the hull. This made it highly effective against infantry. The tank could move quickly and was very firepowerful. The Ausf C tank had a similar turret, but its suspension was much more sophisticated. The tank was still quite low in height, but the hull was longer than it was wide. It was manufactured by MAN, Daimler-Benz.

Bruckenleger IV

The Bruckenleger IV German tanks were used in World War II. To enhance its combat capabilities, the crew modified it. In particular, the crew replaced it with a 5 cm PaK38 anti-tank gun.
