The Military Revolution of Robotics

military technology news asia pacific

Whether you're into the military or not, you've probably heard of the Arab Spring. The Arab Spring saw a successful revolution in Tunisia and a civil conflict in Syria. It is not uncommon to find a study on the subject in your local library. This is especially true if your profession is in health care.

A study of Northern Tunisia, which is quite similar to the States, compares the pre versus post revolution tally for homicides and suicide. The study showed that while the number of murders in Northern Tunisia was just 1.8 per 100,000, it has increased to 3.12/100,000 per year since the revolution. Also, suicides rose by 1.7 percent after the revolution. This is a statistically significant rise and should be a concern not only for government officials but also for the country's youth. Due to both increasing rates of death, healthcare systems across the nation will need to adapt to meet these challenges.
